This has been in the hopper fer a long, long time and the Gator...being a little on the impatient side... is gonna CHOMP down on it as soon as it arrives. Keep us posted varmint!
Yeah but in this one I told the cow to LOOK SKEERED and she did. She deserves an ACADEMY AWARD, don'tcha think? Actually I don't remember seeing that cartoon. I watched Boris and Natacha and Rocky the flying squirrel, Mr Know it All, Bullwinkle...that gang. Which was just as stupid, hee, hee.

Thanks Scott! Gator's have no guilt but if the Gator was HUMAN he'd SHOOT HIMSELF! Looking forward to the next competition also!
Thanks Dorel. And to Darren and Scott congratulations on your great entrys. You know I have just finished a book called "Flight of Passage" It is about two teenage boys flying a Piper Cub from New Jersey to the California coast. They mention landing at crop duster airfields where the duster pilots began starting their engines at the crack of dawn to begin their days work and it reminded me of Scott's entry. Our season here is dictated by mosquitoes but the same dawn to dusk ritual applies and the crop duster's day begins at dawn! Nothing like the sound of a Merlin in the morning to tear yer ass out of bed! They come in low enough to make the shingles clatter! Just a whisper at first and then over the tress with a full-blown scream! Great show everyone. The Gator is very happy!
Son of a gun, pussy-willows in bloom, flowers coming out... and here I am in Michigan with snow still on the ground! What a pisser! Great shots my friend! What do they do in the plant in the valley?
Yea! It's Springtime! The grass is gettin' greener and aside from the customary drudge of getting everything out and started and repaired and raking and raking and more raking...it's time for spring pattern flying!
I love dusting off the Piper Cub and getting it up into those fresh spring breezes with the unexpected bumps and hollows. What a great time to work with such a lovable little kite!
I do this interspersed with yard work. My mind says "If I go out and do this for a while I've "earned' the right to FLY, hee, hee. And inside and outside hold equal value because I am right in the flight path of my local airport and it is interesting to see the aircraft begin their decent or taking off for parts known or unknown.
One thing I have noticed about Flight Simulator is I can still remember the wonderful flights I have had many years ago. There is that one particular flight that tickles yer fancy and sticks there forever.
