Today, December the 17th 2013, we celebrate the anniversary of probably the most important event in the whole of aviation history, the first powered flight, as it came to be known, accomplished with The "Wright Flier", a 2 propeller biplane built by the legendary Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur. On December the 17th 1903, Orville Wright made history, when he climbed at the controls of the flier, took off with it, aided by a downhill track, and maintained a sustained flight for 12 seconds. All "our world" finds its roots back in that very day...
Happy 110th anniversary! Think of it...we've already advanced 10% into the second century of flight...sometimes the speed at which time travels, can get a little scary!
